I haven't been feeling well lately, so blogging has fallen way down to the bottom of my list. I do want to pop in with two bits of news though. #1--My press arrived a couple of weeks ago! The company makes them to order, so it was about 5 months from when I ordered it until it arrived. To my surprise, the delivery men put the stand together for me and attached the press to it, so it's all ready to use. Naturally, I don't feel that I'll be up to using it for awhile, but at least it will be there when I'm ready.
#2--Special Projects at the Cade Fine Arts Gallery, Anne Arundel Community College opens this week. In this exhibition, 6 faculty members, including me, each present a new body of work. There's a reception tomorrow night, Thursday, November 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., and all are welcome. I'll be there, and don't worry, my feelings of awfulness are not contagious.
